The impact of high news consumption is real:
👉 Reduced focus on personal goals
👉Disrupted sleep patterns
👉Increased anxiety levels
👉Decreased productivity

“How much News is the right amount of News?”
I ponder these days.

How can we stay responsibly aware of what’s happening without feeling overwhelmed or drained ❓

Terms like election stress, news blues, headline anxiety, crisis fatigue, media overload, information overwhelm, doom-scrolling, and outrage fatigue seem to be springing up everywhere, reflecting the pressing need to address how constant exposure to current events is impacting our mental well-being.

Here’s my way how to regain control:
1. Select reliable sources only
2. Limit social media news feeds
3. Focus on actionable information
4. Set specific times for news updates

The list is imperfect and doesn’t solve humanity’s problems (and they seem to be piling up these days).

However, I did notice changes after a few days of following these steps.
✨Being informed doesn’t mean being overwhelmed. Ignoring what is happening is not a responsible way of life.

My balance is intact; this is a far more resourceful state for ANY decision-making or response to what is happening around us.

Is anyone else working on managing their news consumption better ❓
Please add to my list.

Need support ❓
Let me know.

My business partner, Marco Iezzi, and I are putting our heads together to provide the best possible support for anyone to perform in times of emotional stress.
